The MTB Test Kit (Abbreviation: MTB Test Kit) is an in vitro diagnostic reagent used for qualitative detection of
Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) from sputum or bronchial washing fluid samples directly.

Principle

The MTB Test Kit is a Taqman probe-based real-time polymerase chain reaction (rt-PCR), which enables qualitative detection of IS6110 gene that is specific for MTBC as well as a non-human internal control (Arabidopsis thaliana SUC2 gene) in one reaction. For ease of storage and transportation, the amplification reagent is designed as a pre-distributed dry reagent (lyophilized).
